Week 10 Picks

Buffalo at New England
Pick: Patriots -3 (4 Stars)
Pick: Under 41.5 (3 Stars)

Buy the point if you have to ATS. But New England is the better team, plain and simple. Even with the injuries.

Tennessee at Chicago
Pick: Titans -3 (3.5 Stars)

Yes, Titans are bound to lose at some point, but not this week. With Orton out, and the Bears d struggling, Titans don't lose this one.

Green Bay at Minnesota
Pick: Packers +3 (3 Stars)

Packers are coming off a bye and the Vikings formula for success is questionable. Packers prove they are the better team.

Kansas City at San Diego
Pick: Chiefs +15 (2 Stars)

Big number for a chargers team that has been mediocre.

Jacksonville at Detroit
Pick: Under 43.5 (4 Stars)

Trend play here. In Detroit's last 14 home games in November, the under is 11-3.

Indianapolis at Pittsburgh
Pick: Steelers NL (4 Stars)

As long as this line stays under 7, we're going with the Steelers who are 8-3 ATS and 10-1 at home to Colts.

Week 9 Picks

Houston at Minnesota
Pick: Vikes -4.5 (3 Stars)

Coming off their bye, the Vikes defense should create enough chaos to cover by more than 5. Texans are improving, but haven't faced many defenses as strong as the Vikes.

Jacksonville at Cincinnati
Pick: Jaguars +7.5 (3.5 Stars)

Cincy will cover a spread at some point this year...and even win a game....but we're going to ride this anti-Bengal streak as long as we can. Remember, Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Baltimore at Cleveland
Pick: Browns -1.5 (5 Stars)

This game stands out for us. Yes, the Ravens won earlier this year....yes, the Ravens defense is knocking heads right now. But the Browns have turned the corner in the past few weeks, knocking off the Giants at home, playing the Redskins tough in DC, and handling the Jags last week. Browns pull out the win at home. We don't trust a rookie qb on the road.

Miami at Denver
Pick: Broncos -3.5 (4 Stars)

Miami has been playing fairly well...but they still lack talent in many areas. Broncos are a talented team, need the win, and are at home. You may want to buy the half point just in case.

Philadelphia at Seattle
Pick: Eagles -6.5 (3 Stars)

Yes, a lot of points for a team flying across the country. But the Seattle offense is going to struggle big time against the Eagles defense. Westbrook will break one or two and the Eagles will cover.

New England at Indianapolis
Pick: Patriots +6 (3.5 Stars)

Not quite the big time game it used to be. Still, we expect a tight low scoring battle. These teams still will ramp up for one another and expect a good football game here. Six points is too many for the Colts who are struggling. Getting Sanders and Addai back helps...but the Patriots are the team that is 5-2 and finding ways to win.

Week 8 Picks

Oakland at Baltimore
Pick: Raiders +7 (3 Stars)

A big number for a team like the Ravens. We'll go with the Raiders, an improving team, on this one.

Tampa Bay at Dallas
Pick: Bucs +3 (3 Stars)

Another road dog. Cowboys are in serious trouble and the injuries are piling up. Bucs rebound from an abysmal Sunday night game.

Washington at Detroit
Pick: Redskins -8 (4 Stars)

Time to consider the Redskins amongst the best teams in the league. Lions won't keep up.

St. Louis at New England
Pick: Rams +7.5 (3.5 Stars)

Patriots looked back to form Monday night...but with Sammy the Bull down and out, Cassell won't get the looks he had on Monday. Rams keep it close, and maybe even steal another win.

Atlanta at Philadelphia
Pick: Eagles -8 (5 Stars)

Don't look now but the Falcons actually have a winning record. Even so, the Eagles are coming off a bye here and have Westbrook back in the mix. The Eagles D has two weeks to prep for Rookie Matt Ryan.

Cincinnati at Houston
Pick: Texans -9 (2 Stars)

As long as Ryan Fitzpatrick is playing QB, we'll be throwing money against the Bungles.

ALCS Game 7

Boston at Tampa Bay
Pick: Under 8.5 (5 Stars)

The nerves and big game atmosphere make this a low scoring affair. Big on the under. Lester and Garza go deep and shut down the opponents.

Week 7 Picks

Tennessee at Kansas City
Pick: Kansas City +9 (3 Stars)

Home dog. Its all about the home dog.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati
Pick: Pittsburgh -9.5 (4.5 Stars)

Cincy is not your typical home dog. Ryan Fitzpatrick is their QB for crying out loud! Steelers blow out.

Indianapolis at Green Bay
Pick: Indy -2 (4 Stars)

Colts offense is starting to find its timing. Should be competitive but the Colts find a way to win.

Seattle at Tampa Bay
Pick: Seattle +10.5 (3 Stars)

We realize why this number is so high. But while Tampa is a good team, they don't deserve to be favored by this much over anybody. Seattle covers.

San Francisco at Ny Giants
Pick: New York -10.5 (3.5 Stars)

Bounce back game for the G-men, while the Niners travel across the country. Eli to Plax all day.

Week 6 Picks

Miami at Houston
Pick: Texans -3 (4.5 Stars)

Houston should have won that game last week and looked solid until the last 4 minutes. They should rebound this week with a win over the improving Dolphins.

Dallas at Arizona
Pick: Cardinals +5 (3.5 Stars)
Pick: Over 50 (5 Stars)

Expect a shootout in the desert. We love home dogs and the Cardinals are primed for an upset in this one. Dallas is now missing their best cornerback against one of the best passing teams in the league.

Baltimore at Indianapolis
Pick: Colts -4 (3 Stars)

Indy had no business winning that game last week. But they did....and that is just the type of game that can turn your season around. Colts have had good success against the Ravens in recent years and we expect the same this week.

Philadelphia at San Francisco
Pick: Eagles -5.5 (3.5 Stars)

The Eagles were outclassed last week by the Redskins and will need to get their act together. The Niners are the perfect team for them to do that against. Westbrook runs all over the place and the Eagles win.

Detroit at Minnesota
Pick: Lions +13 (3 Stars)

A big number for a team whose special teams is horrific and relies on their defense to win games. Lions keep it close.
